I have recently found out my family history and there was a Mary Birdsong among the grandparents. Mary married George Sedberry (son of John) abt. 1770. Mary's parents are James Birdsong and Frances Merritt. Mary and George's children are:

Ann H. Sedberry b. abt. 1825
George Sedberry (Mary's husband) was the only one of his brothers and sisters to use the Sedberry name. Everyone else used Sudbury.
